Welcome back, everyone!
We’ve just started our 4th Attempt at passing the FTMO-Challenge using the XXX-Bot. We made a few changes to the settings, including changing the fixed lot size as well as changing the Profit Factor this time around.
If you haven’t seen the third attempt be sure to check out. Those videos aren’t very long and you’ll have a good idea of what we’ve gone through and the reasons why we change the settings on each attempt.
I believe we may have to be a little bit more Hands-On while using the
XXX-Bot. Especially if we’re wanting to pass and then be consistent after the challenge and the review process. It seems that you can’t just leave the Bot to run without any hands-on or a little bit of help, as we are slowly seeing.
I’m hoping with the Profit Factor being changed we can hit a smaller TP where our trades will close a lot faster and thus preventing us from entering into possible trades that will go into drawdown. But again this is all speculation and something we’ll have to test and see how it runs.
We may end up figuring out that using an EA-Bot to pass the FTMO-Challenge is not possible or maybe not possible with this EA-Bot, but we are going to continue to look for the right settings and I believe as each Test Challenge we do. We’re getting one step closer to our goal. (Fingers Crossed)
